Black Moon, which is part of Chapter 5 in the Storyline, is a bi-weekly event in which special 'cursed' versions of chapter MVPs can be spawned and summoned. The cursed MVPs are stronger than the chapter ones but they have x2 the drop rate. Also, they give Seals of Exorcism which can be given to Petra for extra rewards.
Story
There's evil found across the land since you met Firefox. But it only got worse once you discovered the story behind Valaris as well as Shell King. It was evident that evil is found throughout Vanadis and Moonhaven. The Chief of Vanadis sent you to inform the General in Moonhaven what is happening in Vanadis.
However, only Petra possesses the ancient knowledge retrieved from the Forgotten Temple, and give a sound explanation to what is happening... The "Black Moon"
Schedule
The Black Moon introduces evil to the lands. When the Black Moon rises, it is the sign where the manifestation of evil is the strongest. Therefore, during The Black Moon period, every Chapter MVP that you kill will have a 50% chance of spawning the "Cursed" version of it.
Talk to Petra to "Join the Exorcism".
The Black Moon appears twice on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays:
- 3:00 am - 6:00 am (for those from the Western side of the world)
- 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (for those from the Eastern side of the world)
